About the Author

Nicola Daly has worked as a celebrant since 
1999. She has a PhD in Human Communication 
Sciences. It was the stillbirth of her first son, 
Sasha Felix, in 1998 that led her to this work, and 
to the writing of this book. She currently lives and 
works in Hamilton, New Zealand.
