About the author

Denis Welch is a Wellington journalist and author of two books: a novel, Human Remains, and Helen Clark: A Political Life. Formerly with the Listener as political columnist and feature writer, he now edits news bulletins for RNZ while writing a book about Norman Kirk. This is his first book of poems.
