Description
Whether he’s …
speculating about Bogart and Bergman
imagining an emergency love letter
redefining the days of the week
celebrating days of nothing done
forgetting people’s names
thinking deep thoughts on election day
wondering what happened to paradise
reflecting on long-distance relationships
remembering the joys of being 83, or just
laying down the law on dogs
… Kevin Ireland, here in his twenty-third collection of poems, is as irreverent, incisive and enjoyable as ever.
