Gary Langford’s latest collection of short stories has four parts, each reflecting his different styles of writing over the years.
They range from conventional Langford to his most successful fantasy tale, ‘An elocutionist’s guide to hijacking a library’, to a dozen vignettes in ‘The girls’ house’. Most of the stories in the collection have been published in magazines and anthologies, whether here or overseas, and some have been publicly read by the author or by actors on radio.
