About the author

Stuart Hoar is an acclaimed playwright, radio
dramatist, novelist and librettist. He has won
numerous playwriting awards and held several
major residencies, including the Burns and the
Katherine Mansfield Fellowships. Stuart’s radio
plays have been broadcast extensively here
and overseas. He lives in Auckland.
