Description

Peter Bland’s new poems in Voodoo are about celebrating life and remembering the dead. Remorse and bewilderment are engaged in the face of so much contemporary displacement and global cruelties. These poems actively hang on to the gifts of the everyday and the understated affirmation of earthly care that both celebrity and power increasingly ignore.
